Is Harry Reid Really Stupid?

Harry Reid True Gentleman

I don’t like to think that the people running our country are idiots but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid likes to tempt me into thinking they are absolute morons. Before you libs commence with your Bush bashing, take a moment and contemplate what your own leaders are saying.

Reid actually made this statement when talking about Iraq.

“We have to change course (in Iraq) and turn our attention back to the war on al Qaeda and their allies,” he said. “That’s what Congress is demanding, and the president should be leading us in that direction, not threatening vetoes.”

This guy should stick to his questionable land deals before he makes an ass out of himself, oh wait, he is already a Democrat.

Who does Reid think part of the insurgency is in Iraq? The KISS Army?

I know what you are saying, give the guy a break, he’s a U.S. Senator for crying out loud. Sure, he’s never heard of the terrorist insurgent group of murderers Al Qaeda in Iraq, it’s only the name they use to describe themselves. In fact, I’ll bet Reid thought the guy we killed on June 7, 2006 Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, was the manager at the Baghdad Wal Mart.

Reid is an idiot, we can all see this. It is frightening, because he is in a position where his illiterate incompetency can cost more American lives on our own soil. What is more frightening is the fact that someone ever voted for this guy or any of his comrades in congress. Vote for an idiot, get an idiot

Harry, it’s

A  (as in Al)

Q  (as in Qaeda)

In  (a preposition used to indicate inclusion within space, a place, or limits)

IRAQ  (a country in Southwest Asia spanning most of Mesopotamia as well as the northwestern end of the Zagros mountain range and the eastern part of the Syrian Desert. It shares borders with Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to the south, Jordan to the west, Syria to the northwest, Turkey to the north, and Iran to the east. It has a very narrow section of coastline at Umm Qasr on the Persian Gulf.) (AKA The Cradle of Civilization)

  1. Reid’s not stupid. He reads the newspapers, he listens to the intelligence briefings, and he understands that it was George bush who (unintentionally) invited Al Quaeda into Iraq.

Even Bush’s people say our presence in Iraq boosts al Quaeda.

Now, who is stupid: Those who argue we should continue to boost al Quaeda, or those like Reid who argue we should fight it?

Whose side did you say you are on?

  2. “Reid’s not stupid. He reads the newspapers, he listens to the intelligence briefings, and he understands that it was George bush who (unintentionally) invited Al Quaeda into Iraq.”

These things are all your opinion (typical of a journalist to tunr opinion into fact), unless of course, you can provide a source.

“Even Bush’s people say our presence in Iraq boosts al Quaeda.”

    Need a source here.

“Now, who is stupid: Those who argue we should continue to boost al Quaeda, or those like Reid who argue we should fight it?”
Very odd statement here. Do you think we are not fighting “it”?

I’m on the side who is interested in victory, not defeat.

  3. Reid is not stupid!
Stupid is continuing to do the same thing and not learning from your mistakes!
The civil war in Iraq is not a war against terrorists! It is a civil war by tribal militias trying to fill the hole that was occupied by the late Hussein.
The Al Quaeda terrorists are a insignificant group of foreigners in Iraq that can and will be chased out of the country by the might of the armed militias!
We are foreigners in that country also, and are hated by most of the people in Iraq because our being there is provoking much of the violence in that country!
Fighting terrorism is not like fighting a nation state. Those that think that by staying and fighting in Iraq is a part of the struggle against terrorism, are wrong and stupid! It is a distraction from the struggle against world wide stateless terrorism!
Your president Bush knows that it is all about OIL!… Not terrorism!

  4. “Stupid is continuing to do the same thing and not learning from your mistakes!”

This is the very reason why Bush has changed the strategy in Iraq and the leadership of the troops on the ground.

“The civil war in Iraq is not a war against terrorists! It is a civil war by tribal militias trying to fill the hole that was occupied by the late Hussein.”

While sectarian violence is happening between the Sunni muslims and Shia muslims, we are fighting the terrorists from the radical wing of islam, including Al Qaeda.

“The Al Quaeda terrorists are a insignificant group of foreigners in Iraq that can and will be chased out of the country by the might of the armed militias!”

Is this your opinion or can you give me a source that backs up your statement?

“We are foreigners in that country also, and are hated by most of the people in Iraq because our being there is provoking much of the violence in that country!”

I agree that we are foreigners in Iraq. I need you to provide a source that backs up your statement “and are hated by most of the people in Iraq because our being there is provoking much of the violence in that country!”

“Fighting terrorism is not like fighting a nation state.”

Agreed. Bush told us this when we embarked to fight terrorism.

“Those that think that by staying and fighting in Iraq is a part of the struggle against terrorism, are wrong and stupid!”

Being that we are fighting insurgents affiliated with terrorism, I’d say it is part of the war on terrorism.

“It is a distraction from the struggle against world wide stateless terrorism!”

Is it? Terrorists are coming to Iraq to fight us, so I’d say it is not a distraction. We are still in Afghanistan despite what liberal leaders in this country say.

“Your president Bush knows that it is all about OIL!… Not terrorism!”

Since Bush has never said this, it is your opinion. Unless you give me a source that backs up your statement.

It is obvious you have a problem with the war and with Bush, that’s fine, everyone is entitled to there opinions and views.

What would you do differently in the war on terror?

How would you handle the situation in Iraq?

  5. Good call on this one Seven Hills. Reid has been an absolute disgrace to the office of U.S. Senator. He doesn’t have an opinion on anything, he always throws that finger up to see which way the political breeze is headed before he makes a statement. It must feel disgraceful when it is realized that he has wasted his life as a left wing stooge.

  6. I can not imagine anyone more stupid than Harry Reed in control of all the things he has influence over? Words can not express. That man is absolutely stupid. ( I did not read anything above). HR is an idiot.
